Every item in this collection was personally excavated from the same historic property in Rhode Island. What began as simple curiosity grew into an ongoing effort to uncover, research, document, and preserve pieces of everyday life that had been buried and forgotten for generations.
The collection includes thousands of photographs documenting bottles, ceramics, metal objects, marbles, household items, personal-care containers, toys, and other artifacts dating primarily from the late 1800s through the mid-1900s.
Nothing shown here was purchased, traded, or added from another collection. Every artifact was recovered by hand from the same excavation site. New discoveries, identifications, photographs, and research will continue to be added as the project grows.
